Job Title: Quality Control Technician (Mechanical Systems)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Fresher Quality Control Technician specializing in Mechanical Systems to join our quality control team. As a fresher, you will be responsible for assisting in the inspection, testing, and monitoring of mechanical components, systems, and machinery to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. Under the guidance of senior quality control technicians, you will learn to apply quality control processes and techniques to verify the quality and functionality of mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities:
Inspection and Testing:
- Assist in performing visual inspections, measurements, and tests on mechanical systems and components to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Help operate basic measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to assess dimensions and tolerances of mechanical parts.
- Assist in conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) methods like ultrasonic, magnetic particle, or dye penetrant testing to detect defects or imperfections in materials.
Quality Control Documentation:
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation of quality control tests, inspections, and procedures.
- Help prepare quality control reports and assist in maintaining logs for traceability and compliance with quality standards.
Monitoring and Compliance:
- Monitor mechanical processes and systems during production to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
- Work with production teams to ensure products are manufactured according to established specifications and quality guidelines.
- Report any quality issues or deviations from specifications to senior quality control technicians or supervisors for further investigation and corrective action.
Support Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in the identification of areas for improvement in quality control procedures and help implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Assist in analyzing data from quality tests to identify patterns or trends that may indicate the need for process improvements.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure that quality standards are communicated and followed throughout the manufacturing process.
- Assist in preparing products for final inspection, ensuring that all required quality checks have been completed before release.
Learning and Development:
- Participate in training programs to gain knowledge of quality control procedures, measurement techniques, and mechanical system standards.
- Learn about the various mechanical systems, components, and tools used in the quality control process under the mentorship of senior team members.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols while performing inspections and handling mechanical components.
- Ensure all activities comply with company quality standards, industry regulations, and safety guidelines.

- Assist in inspecting mechanical components, systems, and machinery to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
Testing and Measurement:
- Learn to use precision instruments to measure and test mechanical systems and parts to ensure they conform to quality specifications.

- Help document test results, inspection activities, and maintain accurate records for compliance with internal and external audits.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with various teams to address quality issues and ensure adherence to quality standards during production.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to more efficient and effective quality control processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Fresh graduates or individuals with little to no experience in quality control or mechanical systems are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components.
- Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) and quality control techniques is an advantage but not required.
- Willingness to learn how to interpret technical specifications and quality control standards.
Soft Skills:
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects and inconsistencies.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with senior technicians, engineers, and production staff.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions carefully.
- A proactive attitude toward learning and improving technical knowledge.
Certifications (Optional but Beneficial):
- Any certifications related to quality control, mechanical systems, or manufacturing processes are a plus (e.g., basic quality control training, Six Sigma Yellow Belt).
