Job Summary:
The
Senior Pump Skid Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, development, installation, testing, and optimization of pump skid systems. This senior-level role involves leading and managing complex pump skid projects, ensuring systems meet all technical, safety, operational, and regulatory standards. The Senior Engineer will provide technical leadership to a team of engineers and technicians, working closely with clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective pump systems. The role also includes overseeing system troubleshooting, ensuring optimal performance, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership in Design and Development:
- Lead the design and development of advanced pump skid systems, including the selection of pumps, motors, valves, piping, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Oversee the creation and approval of technical drawings, system layouts, and schematics to ensure all components are integrated seamlessly.
- Provide technical solutions for complex engineering challenges, optimizing the system design for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead the preparation of technical specifications, calculations, and design reports to ensure systems meet project requirements and industry standards (e.g., ASME, API, NEC).

Project Management and Coordination:
- Manage multiple pump skid design projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, fabrication teams, and clients to ensure smooth execution and integration of pump systems into larger projects.
- Develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and track project milestones to ensure that all design and commissioning activities are completed efficiently.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key issues, risks, and solutions.

- Lead the integration of pump skid systems with other plant systems, including control systems (PLC, SCADA) and automation systems.
- Conduct performance evaluations and simulations to verify that the pump skid systems meet operational requirements, optimize performance, and comply with safety standards.
- Provide recommendations for system improvements based on performance data, including increasing system reliability, energy efficiency, and reducing downtime.

Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in the design, testing, and commissioning of pump skid systems or related systems in industrial or commercial applications.
- Proven experience managing complex pump skid projects, including leading teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Extensive hands-on experience with pump system optimization, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
Tools and Technologies:
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools) for creating and reviewing pump skid designs.
