Job Summary:
As a Fresher Product Designer to join our dynamic design team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are eager to begin their career in product design. The candidate will assist in designing intuitive, user-centered products, working alongside senior designers and cross-functional teams to create engaging and functional digital experiences. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a creative environment while contributing to the development of user-friendly products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing user-friendly, visually appealing product interfaces.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and low-fidelity mockups to visualize design concepts.
- Support senior designers in conducting user research and usability testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure design alignment with business goals.
- Contribute to design iterations based on user feedback and testing results.
- Maintain consistency in visual design elements across product interfaces.
- Learn and apply design systems and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends and emerging tools.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Strong foundation in product design principles, such as user-centered design (UCD), color theory, and typography.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX design processes and wireframing techniques.
- Familiarity with prototyping tools and design software.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for learning and improving.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- A portfolio showcasing academic projects or any self-initiated product design work (personal or university projects).
Experience:
- 0-1 year of experience in product design (internships or freelance projects are a plus).
Key Focus Areas:
- Learning and applying design principles to real-world projects.
- Assisting in the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
- Gaining hands-on experience with user research and testing.
- Collaborating with senior designers and cross-functional teams to improve product design.
Tools & Software:
- Required: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Preferred: InVision, Marvel, Prototyping tools.
