We are looking for a competent Mid-Level Pressure Vessel Engineer to take ownership of the design, inspection, and integrity management of pressure vessels, including boilers. The role requires practical experience with relevant codes and standards, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate with fabrication and maintenance teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of boiler systems and pressure equipment.
Develop and review detailed designs, calculations, and specifications for pressure vessels and boiler components in compliance with ASME Section I & VIII, API, and other applicable codes.
Prepare and approve engineering drawings, stress analysis reports, and material datasheets.
Collaborate with procurement and fabrication teams to ensure design intent and code compliance during manufacturing.
Plan, coordinate, and support inspection activities during fabrication, commissioning, and periodic maintenance of boilers and pressure vessels.
Review inspection reports, non-destructive testing (NDT) results, and integrity assessments to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in fitness-for-service evaluations and failure investigations under senior guidance.
Ensure all engineering and inspection work meets regulatory and safety standards.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design changes, inspection records, and maintenance reports.
Support regulatory audits and certification processes.
Work closely with operations, maintenance, quality assurance, and welding teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize boiler performance.
Contribute to root cause analyses, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives related to pressure vessel integrity.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related discipline
Proficient knowledge of ASME Section I & VIII, API, and other relevant codes
Certifications in pressure vessel inspection or design (e.g., API 510, API 570) preferred
3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in pressure vessel design, inspection, or maintenance, preferably with boilers
Practical experience with engineering calculations, NDT, and fitness-for-service evaluations
Strong understanding of pressure vessel and boiler design principles, materials, welding, and fabrication processes
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, codes, and inspection data
Familiarity with inspection techniques and condition monitoring
Good communication and teamwork skills
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
