We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Pressure Vessel Engineer to assist in the design, inspection, and maintenance support of pressure vessels, including boilers. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge of pressure vessel engineering principles, codes, and standards, looking to grow their expertise in mechanical design, fabrication, and integrity assessment of boilers and related equipment.
Assist in the design, analysis, and documentation of pressure vessels and boiler components following relevant codes and standards such as ASME Section I & VIII.
Support the preparation of technical drawings, design calculations, and material specifications.
Collaborate with senior engineers in reviewing vendor drawings, fabrication procedures, and inspection plans.
Support inspection activities during fabrication, commissioning, and maintenance of boilers and pressure vessels.
Help review inspection reports and identify potential issues or deviations.
Assist in preparing maintenance documentation, repair recommendations, and fitness-for-service evaluations under senior supervision.
Ensure engineering and inspection activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Help maintain records of design changes, inspection results, and maintenance history.
Support audit preparations and regulatory submissions as needed.
Develop a thorough understanding of boiler and pressure vessel design, materials, and fabrication processes.
Participate in training programs related to pressure vessel engineering, safety standards, and inspection techniques.
Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities under guidance.

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field
Basic knowledge or willingness to learn relevant pressure vessel codes (ASME Section I & VIII, API, IBR)
Boiler Attendant Certificate or Pressure Equipment Familiarity (advantageous but not mandatory)
0–2 years of experience or internships related to pressure vessel design, inspection, or maintenance
Exposure to boiler systems is a plus
Basic understanding of pressure vessel design principles, welding, and fabrication processes
Ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, and mechanical specifications
Familiarity with inspection techniques and condition monitoring concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and teamwork skills
Eagerness to learn and develop technical competence
