Job Title: Pipeline Installation Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Mid-Level Pipeline Installation Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in pipeline installation who are ready to take on more responsibility. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting pipeline systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, alignment, and securing of pipelines according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Conduct excavation and trenching work, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
- Inspect pipelines for leaks, damage, and proper alignment, making necessary repairs.
- Cut, thread, weld, and join pipes using various techniques and materials.
- Perform pressure testing and other quality assurance procedures to verify system integrity.
- Operate heavy equipment and tools related to pipeline installation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including reports on inspections and repairs.
- Assist in training junior technicians and provide guidance as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

- Technical Expertise & Quality Assurance: The primary focus of this role is to execute precise pipeline installations while ensuring structural integrity, compliance, and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical certification in pipeline installation, plumbing, welding, or a related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in pipeline installation, plumbing, or construction.
- Strong understanding of different pipe materials (PVC, steel, HDPE, etc.) and their applications.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as heavy machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project plans.
- Experience with welding, soldering, and pipe-fitting techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead small teams.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments.
- Valid driver’s license may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced welding techniques and pipeline integrity testing.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and pipeline industry standards.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus.
