Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Pipeline Installation Technician – Fresher to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for recent graduates or individuals looking to start a career in pipeline installation and maintenance. As a fresher, you will be trained to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipelines for water, gas, or oil systems under the supervision of experienced technicians. You will gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and work on exciting projects in the pipeline industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with Pipeline Installation:
- Assist in the installation of pipelines, including welding, cutting, and fitting pipes for various utility systems such as gas, water, or oil pipelines.
- Help with the setup and alignment of pipes and valves, ensuring that all parts are securely connected and meet the required specifications.
- Learn how to operate installation equipment and machinery, under the supervision of senior technicians.
Support During Excavation and Site Preparation:
- Assist in preparing the site for pipeline installation, including excavation and trenching activities.
- Ensure that excavation is done safely and in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Help in preparing the pipeline for installation by ensuring that the ground is level and the necessary permits are in place.
Maintenance and Repair Tasks:
- Assist in performing routine maintenance on pipelines, checking for leaks, corrosion, or other issues.
- Learn to use tools and equipment to carry out repairs and ensure that the pipeline system remains operational.
- Participate in pressure testing and inspections of the pipeline systems to ensure their integrity.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies while performing pipeline installation and maintenance tasks.
- Wear and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times on job sites.
- Participate in safety training and learn proper safety protocols for working with heavy equipment and materials.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of installation activities, including equipment used, parts installed, and any issues encountered during installation.
- Help prepare reports on pipeline installation and maintenance activities, providing updates to the senior team.
- Document any problems or areas of concern during installation and report them to the supervisor for further action.
Learning and Skill Development:
- Participate in on-the-job training to develop a thorough understanding of pipeline installation and maintenance procedures.
- Learn to read technical drawings and blueprints to ensure that pipeline installations meet the required specifications.
- Gain proficiency in the use of installation tools, welding equipment, and pressure testing machinery.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
- Any coursework or hands-on experience related to pipeline systems, construction, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
Experience:
- 0-1 years of experience required. This is an entry-level position suited for fresh graduates or individuals with limited professional experience.
- Any relevant internships, volunteer work, or training related to construction, mechanical systems, or industrial installations would be beneficial.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of construction or mechanical systems.
