Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage pipeline fabrication projects to ensure they meet quality standards and deadlines.
Read and sketch simple drawings for fabrication tasks.
Perform and supervise gas cutting, cold cutting, and tack welding operations.
Ensure proper knowledge and handling of materials, pipes, fittings, and alignment.
Fabricate platforms, ladders, supports, and piping as required.
Understand and handle small rigging tools and jobs.
Operate and maintain tools and machines issued for fabrication tasks.
Ensure adherence to safety requirements and employ safe working practices.
Comply with Client safety rules and regulations.
Train and mentor junior fabricators and team members.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to speak and understand Hindi, Urdu, or English.
Extensive knowledge of the Power/Process/Piping industry.
Proficiency in reading and sketching simple drawings.
Expertise in gas cutting, cold cutting, and tack welding.
Knowledge of materials, pipes, fittings, and alignment.
Capability to fabricate platforms, ladders, supports, and piping.
Understanding and handling of small rigging tools and jobs.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Commitment to safety and quality in all tasks.
Technical Certifications:
Relevant certifications in welding, fabrication, and safety.
Additional certifications in rigging and material handling are a plus.
Hands-On Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in pipeline fabrication and welding.
Proven track record of successfully managing fabrication projects.
Experience in operating and maintaining fabrication tools and machinery.
Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in the fabrication industry.
Educational Background:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certification preferred.
