Job Title: Pipe Fabricator / Fitter

Overview of the Role

The Pipe Fabricator / Fitter is an entry-level position designed for freshers eager to begin their career in the piping industry. This role involves the fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systems used in various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Pipe Fabricator / Fitter will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the fabrication and assembly of pipeline components under the supervision of senior fabricators.
Perform basic welding, gas cutting, and cold cutting tasks as required.
Read and interpret simple technical drawings and sketches.
Maintain and operate fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Participate in on-the-job training to develop fabrication skills and knowledge.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Support senior team members with various fabrication tasks and projects.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Basic knowledge of welding, gas cutting, and fabrication techniques.
Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings and sketches.
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Commitment to safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications:

Matriculation certificate or equivalent.
Technical certificate in fabrication or a related field is preferred.

Hands-On Experience:

0-1 year of hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, or a related field.
