Engaged on a per-job or project basis to provide professional painting services for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Responsibilities include surface preparation, applying paint, stains, or coatings to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes, and adhering to project timelines and client specifications. The role requires expertise in both interior and exterior painting and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Surface Preparation:
Clean, sand, patch, and prime surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of paint or coatings.
Repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections before applying paint or finish.
Protect surfaces that do not require painting, including floors, windows, and furniture, by using drop cloths, tape, and masking materials.
Painting & Coating Application:
Apply paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Select and mix colors and finishes based on client specifications and project needs.
Ensure smooth and even application, achieving the desired finish while minimizing imperfections.
Work with various types of paints, including latex, oil-based, and specialty coatings (e.g., textured, faux finishes).
Clean-up & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean work environment, ensuring that tools, equipment, and materials are stored properly when not in use.
Clean brushes, rollers, and spray equipment at the end of each job.
Dispose of any waste materials (e.g., empty paint cans, rags) in an environmentally responsible manner.
Client Communication & Customer Service:
Consult with clients to understand their painting needs and preferences, offering professional advice and color recommendations.
Provide clients with accurate cost estimates and timelines for each job.
Address any client concerns or requests regarding the painting process, color choices, or work schedule.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and safety goggles.
Ensure that work areas are properly ventilated when using chemicals or paints with strong fumes.
Comply with local building codes and environmental regulations regarding the use and disposal of paint and chemicals.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered during the job.
Submit completed job reports, before/after photos, and invoices via CRM.
Keep track of inventory and notify the supervisor when supplies are running low.
3+ years of professional painting experience (UAE/GCC preferred).
Expertise in both interior and exterior painting using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
Ability to apply a wide range of finishes, including latex, oil-based paints, stains, and specialty coatings.
Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and the ability to perform minor repairs on surfaces before painting.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
Basic English for communication and documentation (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus).
Smartphone for CRM, navigation, and photo documentation.
Valid UAE driving license preferred; willingness to travel between sites.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in painting or decorative finishes (preferred).
First Aid and HSE Awareness certifications are beneficial.
