The Junior Packaging and Labeling Automation Engineer will support installation, commissioning, operation, and basic maintenance of automated packaging and labeling systems. The role requires foundational knowledge of PLC-controlled machines, label verification systems, and machine safety protocols, especially in GMP-compliant environments. This position offers hands-on exposure to modern industrial packaging technology with opportunities to grow into mid-senior technical roles.
Assist in installation, configuration, and commissioning of packaging and labeling equipment (e.g., blister packers, bottle lines, labelers).
Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control components.
Support routine operations including changeover setups, vision system calibrations, and print data verification.
Monitor machine performance and raise flags for faults, material jams, or sensor failures.
Maintain machine logs, calibration checklists, and preventive maintenance records.
Ensure equipment operation is aligned with regulatory requirements (GMP, GDP).
Interface with QA/production teams during batch changeovers, inspections, or deviation reporting.
Adhere to safety protocols, machine guarding standards, and cleanroom discipline.
