Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with Machinery Design and Development:
- Assist senior engineers in the design and development of packaging machinery, including automatic and semi-automatic systems for bottling, labeling, and packaging products.
- Help create 3D models and technical drawings of packaging equipment using CAD software.
- Learn about the integration of packaging machinery with other production line systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting Support:
- Assist in the routine maintenance of packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with packaging machinery, under the supervision of senior engineers, and support in resolving breakdowns.
- Learn how to diagnose equipment malfunctions, perform repairs, and implement preventive measures to avoid future issues.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Assist in monitoring the performance of packaging machinery, ensuring they are operating at peak efficiency.
- Help identify areas for improvement in packaging processes and machinery performance, suggesting modifications to increase productivity or reduce costs.
- Work with the operations team to ensure packaging machinery meets production targets while maintaining product quality.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Support the testing of new or modified packaging machinery, ensuring that they meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Help with conducting performance tests, reliability tests, and quality checks to ensure equipment functions as intended.
- Assist in documenting test results and providing feedback to the engineering team.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of packaging machinery, including maintenance schedules, repair logs, and operational performance data.
- Assist in preparing reports and technical documentation for machinery specifications, installation procedures, and user manuals.
- Help track spare parts and inventory needed for packaging machinery maintenance and repairs.
Learning and Skill Development:
- Participate in on-the-job training, learning from senior engineers and gaining hands-on experience with packaging machinery.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and packaging innovations that can enhance the performance and efficiency of machinery.
- Gradually take on more complex tasks and responsibilities as experience and technical knowledge grow.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Any coursework or technical training related to packaging machinery, automation, or production systems is a plus.
Experience:
- 1-2 year prior professional experience required; this is an entry-level role suited for recent graduates or individuals with internships or academic projects related to packaging machinery.
- Any hands-on experience with machinery, mechanical systems, or production lines during internships or university projects is beneficial.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or automation systems used in packaging machinery.
- Familiarity with CAD software for designing machinery (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with engineers, operators, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail when maintaining records and handling technical documentation.
Certifications (Preferred):
