Job Title: Packaging Machinery Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Packaging Machinery Engineer – Fresher to join our engineering team. In this entry-level role, you will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of packaging machinery used in the production and packaging of goods. As a fresher, you will gain hands-on experience and work closely with experienced engineers to understand machinery design, troubleshooting, and optimization. Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in Design and Development of Packaging Machinery:
- Assist senior engineers in designing and developing packaging machinery systems used for automated packing and packaging processes.
- Help prepare technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for packaging equipment and systems.
- Learn how to design efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable packaging solutions that meet customer requirements.
Supporting the Installation and Commissioning of Equipment:
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new packaging machinery on production lines.
- Work with senior engineers to ensure machinery is installed according to design specifications and operating requirements.
- Perform checks and testing to verify the machinery’s operational efficiency and safety.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting Support:
- Assist in the routine maintenance and servicing of packaging machinery to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Work closely with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in packaging equipment.
- Help conduct inspections to identify areas for improvement and perform corrective actions as necessary.
Machine Optimization and Process Improvement:
- Support the optimization of packaging machinery to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve production output.
- Assist in making adjustments and modifications to machinery settings to improve packaging speed, accuracy, and quality.
- Learn how to use data from performance reports and machine monitoring systems to recommend improvements.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, parts replaced, and other relevant activities related to packaging machinery.
- Help prepare technical documentation, reports, and manuals for machinery operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
- Assist in documenting any modifications or upgrades made to packaging machinery.
Learning and Skill Development:
- Participate in on-the-job training to learn about the different types of packaging machinery, equipment maintenance, and the packaging process.
- Gain proficiency in using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and other engineering tools used in designing packaging systems.
- Participate in safety and compliance training to ensure all work is conducted following industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Any coursework, internships, or projects related to mechanical systems, packaging technology, or manufacturing processes is a plus.
Experience:
- No prior professional experience required; this is an entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience.
- Any hands-on experience with machinery, CAD software, or manufacturing processes during academic studies or internships is beneficial.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen interest in learning machinery design and operations.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and packaging machinery.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- A proactive attitude toward learning new skills and solving challenges.
Certifications (Preferred):
