Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and highly experienced Senior OEM Sales Engineer to lead high-impact sales initiatives within our OEM business segment. This role is ideal for a sales engineer with a strong technical background and a proven track record in managing complex B2B sales cycles. You will drive key OEM partnerships, develop tailored engineering solutions, and play a pivotal role in shaping our OEM sales strategy.
• Strategic Business Development:
Identify, target, and engage high-value OEM clients across key industries.
Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand OEM partnerships and increase market share.
Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, and executive teams.
• Technical Consultation & Solution Design:
Lead in-depth technical discovery sessions to understand complex OEM requirements.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams to co-develop customized product configurations and integration plans.
Translate technical concepts into compelling business value propositions.
• Proposal, Negotiation & Deal Closure:
Prepare and deliver detailed proposals, quotes, and contract terms tailored to OEM client needs.
Lead negotiations, resolve objections, and close high-value deals involving cross-functional coordination.
Ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives and margin targets.
• Account Management & Growth:
Act as a key point of contact for strategic OEM accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities through continuous client engagement.
Monitor client performance and provide regular feedback to product and engineering teams.
• Sales Strategy & Leadership:
Contribute to the overall OEM sales strategy and forecast planning.
Mentor junior sales engineers and assist in refining sales playbooks and technical assets.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and technical conferences.
Managing enterprise-level OEM accounts and multi-phase sales cycles
Driving revenue growth through complex technical sales engagements
Aligning engineering, sales, and operations for successful product delivery
Building OEM partnerships that lead to long-term business value
Influencing go-to-market strategy and sales process improvements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial preferred; MBA is a plus
5–8+ years of experience in OEM technical sales or sales engineering roles
Demonstrated success in managing large OEM accounts and closing high-value deals
In-depth knowledge of OEM markets, manufacturing processes, and product integration
Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms
Advanced consultative selling and technical solution design skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with executive stakeholders
Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills
