We are seeking a skilled and results-driven OEM Sales Engineer (Mid-Level) to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for an experienced sales engineer with a strong technical background, capable of managing the sales cycle for OEM solutions and fostering strong relationships with clients. You will work closely with both the engineering and sales teams to deliver tailored product solutions, negotiate contracts, and drive business growth in the OEM sector.
• Lead Generation & Account Management:
Identify, qualify, and manage new OEM prospects and key accounts.
Develop and implement strategies to expand market share within assigned regions or verticals.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEM clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Technical Sales Support & Presentations:
Lead technical discussions and product presentations with clients to demonstrate the value of our OEM solutions.
Translate complex technical specifications into clear, customer-friendly terms.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams to design solutions that meet client requirements.
• Proposal Development & Negotiation:
Prepare tailored proposals, quotes, and pricing for OEM clients, ensuring alignment with both customer needs and company offerings.
Negotiate contract terms, close deals, and handle any objections or concerns.
Maintain competitive pricing strategies and ensure profitability across accounts.
• CRM & Sales Reporting:
Track all sales activities, leads, and customer communications within the CRM system.
Provide regular sales forecasts, updates, and reports to the sales management team.
Analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform future sales strategies.
Driving growth and securing new OEM business opportunities
Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
Customizing product offerings to meet complex client needs
Collaborating with internal teams to deliver technical solutions
Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in OEM sales engineering or a related technical sales role
Strong understanding of OEM markets, product requirements, and technical sales processes
Proven track record of successfully closing deals and managing client relationships
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical clients
Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Technical aptitude with a deep understanding of engineering principles
Strong organizational and time management abilities
