Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Technician – Fresher to join our team. As a fresher, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship from senior technicians and engineers while assisting in the maintenance, repair, and testing of mechanical equipment and systems. Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with Mechanical Maintenance and Repairs:
- Assist in routine maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, including engines, pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment.
- Perform basic mechanical tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspection of components and systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Help disassemble, inspect, and reassemble mechanical parts and machinery as part of maintenance routines.
Learning and Skill Development:
- Participate in hands-on training and development opportunities to learn about mechanical systems, tools, and maintenance processes.
- Develop skills in troubleshooting mechanical issues with guidance from senior technicians.
- Gain experience in using basic mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment to support maintenance and repair tasks.
Assisting with System Testing and Inspections:
- Assist in testing mechanical systems and equipment to ensure functionality and identify potential problems or areas needing repairs.
- Help perform basic inspections on mechanical equipment, checking for wear, corrosion, and damage.
- Document inspection results and assist in generating reports to track system conditions.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety guidelines and standards while performing maintenance tasks, ensuring personal and team safety at all times.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow standard safety practices during maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations in all tasks, promoting a safe and clean work environment.
Tool and Equipment Support:
- Assist in the selection, use, and maintenance of tools and equipment required for mechanical maintenance tasks.
- Help with the organization of tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and ready for use.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of diagnostic tools and mechanical equipment.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Help maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed on equipment.
- Assist in preparing reports summarizing tasks completed and any observations made during maintenance and inspections.
- Document issues encountered, repairs conducted, and parts used during service.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with senior mechanical technicians, engineers, and team members to complete maintenance and repair tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure clear understanding of assigned tasks and project timelines.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing tasks and priorities.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems or an eagerness to learn and develop mechanical skills is a plus.
Experience:
- No prior professional experience required; this is an entry-level position suitable for fresh graduates or individuals with basic mechanical knowledge.
- Any internships, hands-on projects, or practical experience related to mechanical work will be advantageous but not mandatory.
