Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated
Power Plant Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Fresher Level) to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates who have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and are eager to apply their knowledge in a power plant environment. The engineer will assist in maintaining and optimizing mechanical systems to ensure efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment such as turbines, boilers, pumps, compressors, and piping systems.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
- Conduct inspections and performance assessments on mechanical systems to identify potential failures.
- Work with senior engineers to analyze data and recommend improvements for system efficiency.
- Assist in preparing maintenance reports, documentation, and technical manuals.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support maintenance activities and plant operations.
- Learn and apply diagnostic tools and techniques to monitor equipment conditions.

- Foundational Learning & Equipment Reliability: The primary focus of this role is to develop hands-on technical skills, gain experience in power plant maintenance, and ensure the reliability of mechanical systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced power plant environment.
- Ability to use engineering software for data analysis and reporting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work in an industrial setting with exposure to heat, noise, and heavy machinery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or project experience in a power plant or industrial maintenance setting.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools, techniques, and condition monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of safety standards such as OSHA and industry best practices.
