Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer 

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Power Plant Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Fresher Level) to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates who have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and are eager to apply their knowledge in a power plant environment. The engineer will assist in maintaining and optimizing mechanical systems to ensure efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment such as turbines, boilers, pumps, compressors, and piping systems.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Conduct inspections and performance assessments on mechanical systems to identify potential failures.
  • Work with senior engineers to analyze data and recommend improvements for system efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing maintenance reports, documentation, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support maintenance activities and plant operations.
  • Learn and apply diagnostic tools and techniques to monitor equipment conditions.

Key Focus Area:

  • Foundational Learning & Equipment Reliability: The primary focus of this role is to develop hands-on technical skills, gain experience in power plant maintenance, and ensure the reliability of mechanical systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced power plant environment.
  • Ability to use engineering software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Ability to work in an industrial setting with exposure to heat, noise, and heavy machinery.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or project experience in a power plant or industrial maintenance setting.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools, techniques, and condition monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of safety standards such as OSHA and industry best practices.
