The Mechanical Logistics Technician (Fresher Level) supports the logistics and packaging activities for mechanical equipment, with a focus on valves. This includes assisting with transport scheduling, crating, and packaging preparation to ensure valves are protected and compliant with shipping and project standards.
Assist in preparing valves for outbound shipments by checking transport documents and materials.
Support basic planning of local and international transport for mechanical parts.
Help liaise with warehouse, dispatch, and logistics service providers to ensure timely movement.
Support packing and crating of valves using wood boxes, foam, desiccants, and anti-corrosion wraps.
Apply correct labeling (fragile, up/down, weight) on crates and pallets as per project specs.
Observe and help enforce packaging standards like ASTM, API, or client-specific requirements.
Assist in loading and unloading crated valves using manual tools or pallet jacks (training provided).
Ensure correct tagging and documentation is attached to each shipment.
Help maintain checklists of items packed and dispatched.
High School Diploma or Technical Certificate in Logistics, Mechanical Trades, or Warehouse Operations
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain (Preferred but not required)
0–1 year of experience (internship or vocational training in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus)
Interest in mechanical materials, transport processes, and warehouse logistics
Familiarity with basic packaging tools, hand tools, or crate assembly (training will be provided)
Physically fit and able to work in warehouse/outdoor loading conditions
Attention to detail and willingness to learn documentation practices
