Job Summary:
We are seeking an eager and motivated Mechanical Helper to join our team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to begin their career in mechanical work. As a Mechanical Helper, you will assist senior mechanics in performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of mechanical equipment, tools, and machinery. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe and clean work environment and learning hands-on skills in mechanical maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with Maintenance and Repairs:
- Assist senior mechanics in the routine maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Help with disassembling, cleaning, and inspecting mechanical components such as engines, pumps, and motors.
- Support the repair and replacement of worn-out or damaged parts under the supervision of experienced technicians.
Tool and Equipment Support:
- Provide support in the selection and handling of tools and equipment required for mechanical repairs and maintenance.
- Help keep tools organized, maintained, and in good working condition.
- Clean and store equipment after each use, ensuring that it is ready for the next task.
Cleaning and Preparation:
- Prepare work areas for maintenance or repair tasks, including cleaning and clearing debris, and making sure that the work environment is safe.
- Assist in the removal and installation of parts, materials, and components under the guidance of senior staff.
- Ensure that work areas remain neat and organized throughout the course of maintenance work.
Learning and Development:
- Actively engage in learning opportunities, including hands-on training, mentorship, and following instructions from senior mechanics.
- Understand and follow the basic principles of mechanical systems and repair procedures.
- Take part in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines while performing tasks.
- Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure all safety practices are adhered to during work activities.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to a senior mechanic or supervisor.
Assisting in Inventory Management:
- Assist in the tracking and inventory of mechanical parts and supplies.
- Help with ordering parts or materials required for maintenance and repairs as directed by senior mechanics or supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A basic understanding of mechanical systems or interest in learning more about mechanical work is preferred but not required.
Experience:
- No prior professional experience required; this is an entry-level position suitable for beginners with an interest in mechanical work.
- Any prior exposure to mechanical work, such as through school projects, internships, or personal experience, is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior mechanics.
- Basic understanding of mechanical tools and equipment is advantageous but not required.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Certifications (Preferred):
