We are seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Fabricator to assist in the fabrication and assembly of mechanical components and structures. The ideal candidate is a fresh graduate or entry-level technician with foundational knowledge of metalworking, fabrication tools, and safety practices. Under the guidance of senior fabricators and supervisors, you will support the cutting, welding, grinding, and fitting of parts for mechanical systems used in industrial, oil & gas, or manufacturing environments.
Assist in cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembling metal components based on technical drawings or instructions.
Support senior fabricators in the fabrication of equipment, frames, piping supports, ducts, and structural elements.
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery under supervision.
Prepare and measure raw materials for fabrication work.
Load and unload metal sheets, pipes, and fabricated items safely.
Ensure proper labeling and storage of fabricated components.
Assist with tack welding and basic welding operations under supervision (if qualified).
Perform finishing tasks such as deburring, grinding, and polishing of metal surfaces.
Keep fabrication tools and equipment clean and in good working condition.
Follow all safety procedures, including wearing PPE and reporting hazards.
Participate in toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
Help record material usage and report completed tasks to supervisors.
Maintain basic fabrication logs and quality checklists as instructed.

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication, Fitting, or equivalent trade qualification
0–1 year of experience in mechanical fabrication (internship or apprenticeship experience is acceptable)
Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and measurement tools (scale, vernier caliper, etc.)
Familiarity with metal cutting, grinding, and fitting
Willingness to learn welding techniques and safety procedures
Good team attitude and willingness to take direction
Basic welding certification (if available)
Safety induction or general safety training (e.g., OSHA awareness)
