  • Ensure that workshop equipment (cutting machines, rollers, welding machines) is properly maintained and calibrated.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Interpret and implement fabrication drawings and welding specifications

  • Oversee day-to-day mechanical fabrication and welding operations

  • Ensure code compliance (ASME, AWS, API) in structural and pressure part fabrication

  • Collaborate across QA/QC, engineering, and field execution teams

  • Drive documentation accuracy and safety adherence

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Technology, or a related field

Experience:

  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience in mechanical fabrication, preferably in power plant, refinery, or heavy industrial environments

Skills:

  • Proficient in reading fabrication and piping drawings, isometrics, and weld symbols
