Job Description: Marketing Automation Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Automation Specialist to lead our advanced automation strategies and elevate our digital marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex automated campaigns that drive customer engagement, nurture leads, and contribute to revenue growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automation efforts into broader marketing strategies while mentoring junior team members and ensuring best practices are upheld.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Campaign Development:

    • Design and implement sophisticated marketing automation workflows for email, social media, and multichannel campaigns.
    • Develop targeted lead nurturing and customer segmentation strategies to maximize engagement and conversion.
  • Data-Driven Optimization:

    • Utilize advanced analytics to monitor campaign performance, interpret key metrics, and derive actionable insights for continuous improvement.
    • Lead A/B and multivariate testing initiatives to optimize automated workflows and increase ROI.
  • Platform & Process Management:

    • Oversee the configuration, integration, and maintenance of marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) with CRM systems.
    • Identify and implement process enhancements and new technology solutions to improve efficiency and campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, IT, and creative to ensure alignment and integration of marketing automation strategies.
    • Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing industry best practices and technical expertise.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:

    • Ensure all automated marketing activities comply with data protection regulations and industry standards.
    • Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in marketing automation and digital marketing.


Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Deep knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM integrations.
    • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template customization and technical troubleshooting.
  • Analytical Expertise:

    • Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure campaign performance and generate insights.
    • Strong understanding of A/B testing, segmentation, and conversion optimization techniques.
  • Digital Marketing Acumen:

    • Comprehensive grasp of digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, lead generation, and multichannel campaigns.
    • Ability to translate marketing objectives into effective automated strategies.
  • Leadership & Communication:

    • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor team members.


Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree:
    • In Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Advanced Training (Preferred):
    • Certifications or specialized coursework in marketing automation, digital marketing, or data analytics.

  • Leadership Experience:
    • Experience mentoring junior staff and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Technical Experience:
    • Hands-on expertise with marketing automation platforms, CRM integrations, and advanced analytics tools.
