Job Description: Marketing Automation Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Mid-Level Marketing Automation Specialist to join our marketing team. This role is pivotal in executing and optimizing automated marketing campaigns, enhancing customer engagement, and driving lead generation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to improve marketing processes and outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management & Execution:

    • Develop, implement, and manage automated marketing campaigns using platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or similar tools.
    • Ensure campaigns are set up correctly, monitored, and optimized to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Workflow Optimization:

    • Design and refine customer journey workflows, lead nurturing programs, and segmentation strategies.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate automation tools with CRM systems and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Data Management & Analytics:

    • Maintain data integrity by ensuring accurate customer segmentation and database management.
    • Analyze campaign performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide actionable insights for campaign enhancements.
    • Conduct A/B testing to determine best practices and improve campaign outcomes.
  • Technical Support & Process Improvement:

    • Troubleshoot technical issues related to automation processes and work with IT or external vendors when needed.
    • Continuously seek ways to streamline automation workflows and improve overall efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work closely with content creators, designers, and other marketing professionals to align automation campaigns with overall marketing objectives.
    • Communicate campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders.


Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and basic CRM integration.
    • Understanding of HTML/CSS and email template creation is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills:

    • Strong ability to analyze campaign data and generate insights to optimize performance.
    • Familiarity with data segmentation, A/B testing, and reporting tools.
  • Marketing Acumen:

    • Solid grasp of digital marketing concepts, including lead generation, customer segmentation, and campaign management.
    • Ability to translate marketing objectives into effective automated campaigns.
  • Organizational & Project Management:

    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.
  • Communication & Teamwork:

    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive campaign success.


Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree:
    • In Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Certifications in marketing automation, digital marketing, or related areas (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
