Overview of the Role

The Marine Recruiter will serve as a pivotal member of the Talent Pool team, operating at the General Manager level. This role is designed for a highly motivated individual with a deep understanding of the marine industry and recruitment processes. The Marine Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and selecting top-tier marine professionals to meet the staffing needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a keen eye for talent, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage recruitment campaigns while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified marine professionals.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate skills and cultural fit.
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline through networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide expert guidance on market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols during the recruitment process.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools to streamline the hiring process.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics and candidate progress to senior management.
  • Participate in job fairs and industry conferences to promote the Talent Pool brand and attract potential candidates.
  • Foster relationships with educational institutions and training organizations to identify emerging talent.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve recruitment processes and enhance candidate experience.
