Key Responsibilities:
Process Improvement and Support:
- Assist in analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending solutions to enhance production speed and quality.
- Support the implementation of new processes and technologies to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Learn to perform time studies, process analysis, and material flow optimization.
Product Design Support:
- Collaborate with the design team to review product designs and assess manufacturability, suggesting design modifications to optimize for manufacturing.
- Assist in developing and refining assembly methods and ensuring designs align with production capabilities.
- Ensure that designs meet mechanical standards and specifications to improve manufacturability.
Manufacturing Process Documentation:
- Help document and update manufacturing process specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
- Record process changes and ensure all updates are clearly communicated to production teams.
- Assist in creating process flow diagrams, control plans, and process validation documents.
Quality Control and Testing:
- Support quality control processes by assisting in product testing, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Help in identifying product defects and collaborate with quality control teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for any quality issues that arise during production.
Machine and Equipment Support:
- Assist in the selection and setup of machinery, tools, and equipment for production processes.
- Support troubleshooting activities and minor repairs to ensure machines are running at optimal efficiency.
- Learn to conduct routine maintenance on equipment and recommend improvements for reliability and productivity.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with the production, design, and quality teams to ensure that manufacturing processes are aligned with production goals.
- Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure alignment on production schedules, process changes, and quality standards.
Learning and Skill Development:
- Participate in training and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills in mechanical engineering, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices.
- Take part in on-the-job learning to gain proficiency in the use of engineering tools, production equipment, and software.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates or individuals with minimal work experience are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and production techniques.
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and manufacturing tools is an advantage but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
