We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Supervisor – Boiler Section (Mid-Level) to lead and manage the upkeep of steam boilers and related systems. This role is ideal for professionals with solid experience in boiler maintenance and team coordination who are ready to take on greater responsibility in ensuring system reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. You will oversee maintenance schedules, troubleshoot equipment issues, guide technicians, and uphold compliance standards.
Supervise daily maintenance, inspections, and repair activities of steam boilers, burners, feedwater systems, and auxiliary equipment.
Lead root cause analysis for recurring boiler faults and initiate corrective action plans.
Ensure optimal boiler performance through proactive diagnostics and condition monitoring.
Enforce adherence to standard operating procedures during boiler startup, operation, and shutdown.
Assign, monitor, and evaluate work completed by maintenance technicians and fitters.
Provide technical mentorship to junior staff and support their on-the-job development.
Coordinate with other departments for maintenance scheduling and resource allocation.
Conduct regular shift meetings, toolbox talks, and skill-building sessions.
Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, especially around high-pressure systems.
Conduct safety inspections and lead incident response drills as required.
Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and support regulatory audits and inspections.
Promote a safety-first culture within the maintenance team.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for boiler systems.
Manage the inventory of critical spares and consumables; initiate purchase requisitions as needed.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, downtime logs, equipment status, and corrective actions.
Provide regular reports to senior engineers or plant managers, highlighting performance trends and improvement areas.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance boiler efficiency and maintenance productivity.
Stay current with technological advancements in boiler maintenance and diagnostics.
Participate in vendor evaluations and assist in equipment upgrades or retrofits.

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Plant Technology, or a relevant technical discipline
Valid Boiler Attendant Certificate (mandatory for this level)
3–6 years of hands-on experience in boiler maintenance or mechanical systems within an industrial or power plant environment
Proven experience in leading small teams or supervising shift maintenance
Strong understanding of boiler components: economizers, deaerators, safety valves, combustion systems, and water level controls
Proficient in reading technical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and OEM manuals
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
Leadership and team coordination abilities
