The Maintenance Materials Manager – Turbine Overhaul Kits and Consumables is responsible for managing the procurement, inventory control, and distribution of critical maintenance materials, including turbine overhaul kits, replacement parts, and consumables. This role ensures optimal inventory levels to support scheduled maintenance, overhaul activities, and unplanned repairs, minimizing downtime and maximizing asset reliability.
Maintain accurate inventory of turbine overhaul kits, consumables (lubricants, filters, gaskets), and spare parts to meet maintenance schedules and emergency requirements.
Implement inventory optimization techniques (min/max levels, reorder points) to balance availability and working capital.
Source and procure overhaul kits and consumables from OEMs and approved suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance, including quality compliance and warranty claims.
Collaborate with maintenance planners and engineers to forecast materials demand based on overhaul schedules, condition monitoring data, and historical usage.
Coordinate material issuance and delivery to maintenance teams, ensuring readiness for planned outages and overhauls.
Ensure all materials and kits meet OEM specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.
Manage documentation, traceability, and compliance for critical overhaul parts and consumables.
Drive initiatives to improve material lead times, reduce obsolete stock, and enhance inventory turnover.
Leverage ERP/CMMS systems for real-time inventory tracking, reporting, and analytics.
Provide regular reports on inventory status, material usage, cost trends, and supplier performance.
Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Experience: 7+ years in materials management or procurement supporting rotating equipment maintenance, preferably turbines
Skills:
Strong knowledge of turbine maintenance parts and consumables
Proficient in ERP (SAP MM/PM, Oracle), CMMS (Maximo), and inventory management software
Excellent coordination and vendor management skills
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
