Job Summary:
We are seeking a Fresher Machinery Mechanic to join our maintenance team. As a fresher, you will assist in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery and mechanical systems in our facility. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills and gain valuable experience in machinery mechanics. You will be trained under the guidance of experienced mechanics, gaining practical knowledge of machine maintenance and system optimization. Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with Machine Maintenance:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery, including inspecting, lubricating, and cleaning mechanical components.
- Help replace worn-out parts and ensure machines are in good working condition.
- Support senior mechanics in troubleshooting issues and performing repairs on mechanical systems.
Routine Checks and Inspections:
- Assist in conducting routine inspections of machinery to ensure proper operation.
- Learn how to identify signs of wear, damage, or malfunction in mechanical components.
- Support the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to avoid machine breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Assist in diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues with the guidance of senior mechanics.
- Learn basic repair techniques and tools, and use them to correct mechanical malfunctions.
- Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of machinery components for repairs or replacements.
Learning and Development:
- Participate in training programs to learn about various types of machinery, repair methods, and maintenance techniques.
- Develop skills in reading and interpreting machine manuals and technical documents.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills under the mentorship of experienced mechanics.
Collaborating with the Maintenance Team:
- Work closely with senior mechanics to understand machine maintenance and repair procedures.
- Assist other team members with tasks as needed and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Follow instructions from senior mechanics and supervisors to perform tasks efficiently.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing maintenance tasks and handling machinery.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Assist in documenting maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.
- Keep records of machinery performance, maintenance schedules, and any issues encountered during operations.
- Report to supervisors on the status of machinery, including any unusual performance or failures.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A technical degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with limited experience in machinery mechanics are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, and tools.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment, and willingness to learn to use more advanced tools.
- Basic understanding of mechanical concepts, such as gears, motors, and hydraulics.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
