Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of machines used in the manufacturing process. You will help ensure machines run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
Machine Setup and Operation:
- Assist in setting up and operating various types of machines (e.g., CNC machines, lathes, grinders) according to production specifications.
- Monitor machine performance during production, ensuring consistent output quality and efficiency.
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to optimize production quality and efficiency.
Quality Control and Monitoring:
- Conduct routine inspections of machine outputs to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Perform basic quality checks using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Report any quality issues or malfunctions to senior machine operators or production supervisors.
Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Assist in routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to keep machines in good working condition.
- Learn basic troubleshooting techniques to identify and address minor machine issues or interruptions in the production process.
- Assist in performing minor repairs to equipment when necessary, under the supervision of senior operators.
Safety Compliance:
- Follow established safety procedures and protocols while operating machines, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report any safety hazards, accidents, or unsafe practices immediately to the supervisor.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including machine settings, outputs, and any issues encountered during operation.
- Complete routine documentation for machine inspections, maintenance activities, and quality control checks.
- Report machine malfunctions, production discrepancies, and other relevant data to supervisors or senior operators.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with other machine operators, production staff, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address production challenges and optimize machine performance.
- Assist other team members with machine setup, operation, and maintenance tasks as needed.
Learning and Skill Development:
- Participate in on-the-job training and workshops to develop technical skills related to machine operation and maintenance.
- Continuously improve your understanding of machine processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
- Learn how to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machine manuals to understand production requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or coursework related to machine operation or manufacturing is a plus.
- Entry-level candidates with 1-2 years of experience in machine operation are welcome to apply.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and machines is preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools and measurement instruments, such as calipers and micrometers.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills related to machine operation and maintenance.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of machine outputs.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and report issues to supervisors.

Certifications (Optional but Beneficial):
