The Junior Loop Testing Technician is responsible for assisting in the execution and documentation of loop testing, signal verification, and functional checks of process instrumentation in CIP/SIP systems and process zones. This includes supporting calibration teams and validation engineers in ensuring that all instruments function correctly within their defined control loops and meet regulatory standards.
Assist in performing loop checks between field instruments (e.g., transmitters, sensors) and control systems (PLC/DCS).
Verify proper installation, polarity, signal range, and tagging of sensors during loop tests.
Conduct signal simulation and continuity checks using loop calibrators or HART communicators.
Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in CIP/SIP skids, reactors, mixing vessels, and transfer lines.
Document loop test results, deviations, and corrections in standard forms or digital systems.
Ensure compliance with GMP, safety protocols, and cleanroom practices during testing.
Collaborate with electrical, automation, and QA validation teams during qualification activities (IQ/OQ).
