The Senior Lifecycle Support Engineer – Turbine Spare Part Forecasting leads the strategic forecasting, planning, and management of turbine spare parts inventory across the asset lifecycle. This role is pivotal in ensuring parts availability, optimizing inventory investment, and supporting reliability and maintenance initiatives for gas and steam turbine fleets.
Lead the development and continuous refinement of spare parts forecasting models based on turbine lifecycle data, condition monitoring, and maintenance plans.
Collaborate with reliability engineers and maintenance teams to identify critical parts and anticipate future demand.
Develop strategies to optimize inventory levels balancing availability, cost, and obsolescence risk.
Implement risk mitigation plans to address potential supply chain disruptions or critical parts shortages.
Utilize advanced analytics and forecasting tools to analyze consumption trends, lead times, and failure modes.
Provide actionable insights and reports to senior management and stakeholders to support decision-making.
Act as the primary liaison between maintenance, procurement, engineering, and supply chain teams to align spare parts strategies with operational goals.
Lead cross-functional projects to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory management, and supplier collaboration.
Drive the implementation and enhancement of ERP/CMMS systems and digital tools for lifecycle and inventory management.
Standardize forecasting methodologies and best practices across turbine fleets and sites.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and planners involved in lifecycle support and spare parts forecasting.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Experience: 8+ years in lifecycle support, maintenance planning, or supply chain management with focus on turbines or rotating equipment
Skills:
Expertise in advanced forecasting techniques and inventory optimization
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), CMMS (Maximo), and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau)
