Job Summary
The Senior IoT Solutions Architect is a pivotal role responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of advanced Internet of Things (IoT) solutions across various industries. This position requires a strategic mindset to define IoT strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring system interoperability. The architect will provide expert guidance on critical aspects such as security, scalability, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design large-scale IoT solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to industry standards.
- Define technical roadmaps, best practices, and governance models for IoT solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Lead the integration of IoT devices, platforms, and cloud services, ensuring seamless communication and functionality across systems.
- Ensure compliance with IoT security policies, risk mitigation strategies, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, and ISO 27001.
- Conduct in-depth security assessments and implement advanced security controls, such as blockchain-based authentication and zero-trust models.
- Oversee data processing pipelines, edge computing strategies, and AI/ML applications for IoT analytics to derive actionable insights.
- Optimize network architecture for high-performance, real-time IoT applications, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex IoT issues, enhancing system reliability and performance.
- Mentor junior and mid-level architects, providing technical leadership and training to foster professional growth.
- Drive continuous innovation by evaluating emerging IoT technologies, frameworks, and protocols to maintain competitive advantage.
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Deep expertise in IoT protocols, edge computing, and cloud-based architectures.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
- Experience with AI-driven IoT analytics, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection.
- Mastery of cybersecurity best practices, including cryptographic algorithms, secure boot, and device attestation.
- Hands-on experience with real-time data processing, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with industry-specific IoT solutions, including Industrial IoT, Smart Cities, Healthcare IoT, and Automotive IoT.
Educational Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
