The Mid-Level Inventory Control Technician manages and optimizes inventory processes for rotating equipment parts, including turbines, compressors, and associated spares. This role ensures accurate bin management, timely stock replenishment, and effective coordination with procurement and maintenance to support operational readiness and project demands.
Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS systems, ensuring bin locations and stock levels are consistently updated.
Lead regular cycle counts, full physical inventories, and reconcile discrepancies in rotating equipment parts inventory.
Organize and optimize bin layouts and storage methods to maximize space efficiency and minimize retrieval times.
Implement best practices for storage of sensitive or critical turbine components, including preservation and handling requirements.
Liaise with procurement, maintenance, and project teams to forecast material requirements and plan replenishments.
Communicate stock status, shortages, and critical parts availability to stakeholders promptly.
Generate and analyze inventory reports, including turnover rates, slow-moving stock, and excess materials.
Maintain accurate documentation for stock movements, transfers, and adjustments compliant with company policies.
Ensure inventory and storage operations comply with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and company preservation protocols.
Participate in safety audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management processes.

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
Experience: 4–7 years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management, preferably within the rotating equipment or industrial sector
Skills:
Proficient with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of rotating equipment components and their storage/preservation needs
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
