The Junior Inventory Control Technician is responsible for supporting accurate inventory management of rotating equipment parts, such as turbines, compressors, and related spare parts. This role ensures efficient bin management, inventory accuracy, and smooth coordination with procurement and maintenance teams to maintain stock availability.
Maintain and update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP.
Organize and label rotating equipment parts bins to ensure easy identification and traceability.
Support regular cycle counts and physical inventories, reporting variances promptly.
Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing turbine and rotating equipment spare parts according to established standards.
Facilitate issuance and return of parts to maintenance or project teams, ensuring proper documentation.
Prepare and maintain records of stock movements, discrepancies, and inventory adjustments.
Generate inventory reports to assist supervisors in stock level analysis and reorder planning.
Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and logistics teams for timely replenishment and material flow.
Adhere to safety guidelines and preservation requirements for storage of sensitive rotating equipment components.

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline
Experience: 1–3 years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management, preferably in industrial or rotating equipment environment
Skills:
Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory recordkeeping
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic knowledge of rotating equipment or mechanical parts is a plus
