Job Title: Human Resource Information Specialist
Job Summary:
The mid-level HRIS Specialist is responsible for the effective administration
and enhancement of the company’s Human Resources Information System. This role
goes beyond basic data entry by driving system improvements, managing
integrations, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance across HR processes.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HR systems, strong
analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to
optimize HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day administration of the HRIS, ensuring
data integrity and system reliability.
- Configure system settings, run system updates, and
implement enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
- Manage the input, verification, and maintenance of
employee data across the HRIS.
- Develop, generate, and analyze regular and ad hoc reports
to support HR metrics, compliance, and decision-making.
- Work with IT and HR teams to integrate the HRIS with
other systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, performance management).
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system
automation to enhance overall HR operational efficiency.
- Provide advanced support and training to HR team members
and other system users, ensuring optimal utilization of the HRIS.
- Develop and update user manuals, guides, and best
practices documentation.
- Ensure the HRIS complies with all internal policies and
external regulations regarding data privacy and security.
- Conduct regular audits and troubleshoot discrepancies to
maintain high data quality standards.
- Liaise with software vendors to coordinate system
upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and implement new features.
- Support project teams during HR system implementations
and enhancements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information
Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in HRIS administration or a
similar role.
- Proven experience managing HR data and running HR-related
reports.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday,
SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP) is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical aptitude with an ability to troubleshoot
and resolve system issues.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and creating
detailed reports.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to train
and support end users.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and
work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- HRIS-related certifications or relevant training courses
are a plus.
