Job Title: Junior Human Resource Information Specialist

Job Summary:

 We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Junior Human Resource Information Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will assist in the management and maintenance of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and providing support to HR staff and employees. Key Responsibilities:

  • HRIS Data Management:

    • Input, update, and maintain accurate employee information within the HRIS.

    • Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits and resolving discrepancies.

  • System Support and Troubleshooting:

    • Provide first-level support to HR staff and employees for HRIS-related inquiries and issues.

    • Troubleshoot system problems and escalate complex issues to senior HRIS specialists or IT as necessary.

  • Reporting and Analytics:

    • Generate standard reports from the HRIS for HR and management use.

    • Assist in the analysis of HR data to support decision-making processes.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to streamline HRIS processes and improve system efficiency.

    • Collaborate with HR team members to implement best practices in HRIS utilization.

  • Training and Documentation:

    • Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for HRIS users.

    • Maintain up-to-date documentation of HRIS procedures and guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Previous experience or internships in HR or HRIS roles is advantageous but not required.

  • Basic understanding of HR processes and data management principles.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to support HRIS users.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HRIS platforms is a plus.
