Job Summary:
The Junior Healthcare Automation Engineer is responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of automation systems in healthcare facilities. This role involves working on automation technologies to enhance clinical workflows, medical device integration, and building management systems. The engineer independently handles routine tasks, troubleshoots minor issues, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions that meet healthcare compliance and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation System Implementation:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and validation of healthcare automation systems such as SCADA, PLCs, and IoT-enabled devices.
- Support the integration of medical devices with healthcare information systems (e.g., HIS, EMR, PACS).
- Conduct functional tests to ensure seamless operation and compatibility of automated systems.System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of automation systems to ensure continuous reliability.
- Use diagnostic tools to analyze system performance and implement corrective actions for minor issues.

Process Optimization:
- Analyze clinical workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend automation solutions.

Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all activities comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 60601) and organizational safety protocols.

Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with clinical teams, IT staff, and senior engineers to implement and support automation systems.

Experience:
