Job Summary:
The Healthcare Automation Engineer at the fresher level is responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems within healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities:
Automation System Implementation:
- Assist in the installation and configuration of automation systems for healthcare applications, including patient monitoring systems, laboratory automation, and building management systems (BMS).
- Support the integration of medical devices with healthcare information systems (e.g., HIS, EMR).
- Conduct initial testing and validation of automated systems to ensure proper functionality.
System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and assist in troubleshooting automation systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and address minor system performance issues under supervision.
- Document maintenance activities and update system logs for compliance and review.
Process Optimization:
- Support the analysis of clinical and operational workflows to identify areas for automation.
- Assist in implementing automation solutions to improve healthcare efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
- Follow healthcare regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485) and organizational safety protocols during system installation and maintenance.
- Participate in training programs to gain knowledge of compliance standards for automation systems.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical staff, and senior engineers, to implement automation solutions.
- Provide basic support to end-users during system onboarding and training.
