Job Title: HVAC Turbine Systems Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level HVAC Turbine Systems Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing turbine systems used in HVAC applications. You will work on complex projects with minimal supervision while collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers. Your focus will be on improving system performance, enhancing energy efficiency, and ensuring sustainable design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Analysis:
- Develop and refine turbine system designs for HVAC applications using industry-standard engineering and simulation software.
- Perform detailed load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment sizing to optimize system performance.
- Evaluate simulation data and testing results to propose and implement design improvements.
System Integration and Testing:
- Oversee the integration of turbine systems with broader HVAC infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility.
- Lead prototype testing, system calibration, and troubleshooting to validate and enhance design performance.
- Analyze test data to identify operational trends and recommend corrective measures.
Project Coordination and Documentation:
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to integrate turbine systems into complete HVAC solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and performance analysis.
- Ensure all design changes and project updates are accurately documented and communicated.
Team Collaboration and Mentorship:
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop and implement innovative HVAC turbine solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design and troubleshooting techniques.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant coursework in turbine systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, or energy systems.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in HVAC systems engineering, with a focus on turbine-based systems preferred.
- Proven experience in design, analysis, and integration of complex HVAC systems.
Skills:
- Proficiency with design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MATLAB, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Relevant industry certifications or training in HVAC technology, turbine systems, or energy management are beneficial but not required.
