Job Title:  HVAC Turbine Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior HVAC Turbine Systems Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for individuals with some foundational experience or internships in turbine systems or HVAC technology. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to support the design, analysis, and optimization of turbine systems used in HVAC applications, contributing to efficient and sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Analysis:

  • Assist in developing turbine system designs for HVAC applications using industry-standard engineering and simulation software.
  • Support the analysis of system performance through load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment sizing.
  • Contribute to the refinement of designs by evaluating simulation results and suggesting improvements.

System Integration and Testing:

  • Aid in the integration of turbine systems with broader HVAC infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Participate in prototype testing, system calibration, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing test data to validate design performance and operational efficiency.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Help prepare detailed technical documentation including design reports, specifications, and performance analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of design iterations, testing results, and modifications.
  • Support the preparation of project updates and presentations for team and client reviews.

Collaboration and Continuous Learning:

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers.
  • Engage in ongoing training and mentorship programs to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and innovation initiatives.

  • Turbine System Optimization: Focus on enhancing the efficiency and performance of turbine systems within HVAC applications.
  • Seamless Integration: Ensure effective integration of turbine technology with existing HVAC systems to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Data-Driven Design: Leverage simulation and testing data to drive continuous improvement in design processes.
  • Sustainable Solutions: Contribute to developing energy-efficient and environmentally responsible turbine systems.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support creative problem-solving and technical advancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant coursework or academic projects in turbine systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, or energy systems.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years prior internship or hands-on experience in HVAC systems, turbine technology, or related fields is preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in system design and analysis through academic projects or related work experience.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MATLAB, or similar) is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the HVAC turbine systems field.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Any relevant industry certifications or training in HVAC technology, turbine systems, or energy management are beneficial but not required.
