Job Title: HVAC System Installer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Senior HVAC System Installer to lead and oversee complex HVAC installations. In this role, you will manage large-scale projects, provide technical expertise, and mentor installation teams to ensure that all systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for professionals with extensive hands-on experience in HVAC installation who are looking to advance into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Oversight:

• Manage and lead HVAC system installation projects from planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Supervise and mentor installation teams, providing technical guidance and support during complex installation tasks.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and optimize installation processes.

Advanced Installation & Commissioning:

• Execute and oversee the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems, following manufacturer guidelines and technical specifications.
• Conduct comprehensive system testing, calibrations, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Resolve complex installation issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.

Safety, Compliance & Quality Control:

• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations on all installation projects.
• Perform quality control checks and ensure accurate documentation of installation processes, work logs, and technical reports.
• Lead safety audits and training sessions to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.

Technical Expertise & Continuous Improvement:

• Serve as the subject matter expert in HVAC installation techniques, equipment, and best practices.
• Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and methods to improve installation efficiency and system performance.
• Provide input on process improvements and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or coursework in HVAC technology, electrical, or mechanical systems is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC system design, installation, and commissioning.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC system installation, with a proven record of managing large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in supervising installation teams and handling complex technical challenges.

Skills:

• Exceptional mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced installation issues.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Proactive approach to safety and quality control, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Advanced safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid/CPR) are required.
• Additional certifications in HVAC technology or related fields are an advantage.
