We are looking for a Senior HVAC Supervisor with deep expertise in industrial HVAC systems to lead the maintenance, optimization, and reliability of HVAC infrastructure supporting a power plant. This role requires strong technical oversight, team leadership, and a proactive approach to system performance, safety compliance, and project execution. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence and support long-term HVAC infrastructure planning and upgrades.
Lead the full lifecycle maintenance, operation, and continuous improvement of large-scale HVAC systems including chillers, air handling units, control systems, and ventilation networks.
Oversee root cause analysis of HVAC failures and direct implementation of corrective measures to ensure system reliability and performance.
Manage and mentor HVAC technicians, supervisors, and maintenance staff, ensuring high technical competency and safety awareness.
Drive workforce planning, skills development, and succession planning initiatives.
Foster a safety-first culture and lead by example in compliance and professionalism.
Ensure all HVAC operations comply with plant safety regulations, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and relevant environmental standards.
Coordinate risk assessments, participate in audits, and lead emergency response procedures related to HVAC systems.
Champion energy-efficient practices and sustainability improvements.
Lead HVAC-related capital projects, retrofits, and major equipment upgrades in coordination with engineering and construction teams.
Contribute to scope development, technical specifications, vendor evaluations, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
Evaluate new HVAC technologies and integration opportunities for plant modernization.
Analyze HVAC system performance data and initiate improvements to reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs.
Oversee documentation of system logs, asset history, CMMS inputs, and compliance records.
Report KPIs and participate in plant reliability and energy efficiency reviews.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or related field
Professional certifications (e.g., LEED AP, CEM, or equivalent) preferred
Experience:
8–12 years of progressive experience in HVAC systems within power plants or industrial facilities
At least 3–5 years in a senior supervisory or managerial capacity
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of industrial HVAC systems, control strategies, and energy optimization
Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities
Experience with CMMS platforms and performance analytics
Familiarity with commissioning procedures, HVAC retrofit planning, and vendor coordination
Commitment to reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles and regulatory compliance
