Job Title: HVAC Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HVAC Service Engineer to join our service team. In this role, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems while working under the guidance of experienced engineers. This position is ideal for candidates with some foundational training in HVAC technology who are eager to expand their technical skills and contribute to efficient and reliable system operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Commissioning:

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring proper setup and calibration according to technical specifications.
• Support system start-up activities, including performance testing and initial troubleshooting.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Participate in routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Help diagnose and resolve basic system malfunctions and perform minor repairs under supervision.
• Document service activities and assist in preparing reports with recommendations for corrective actions.

Customer Support & Collaboration:

• Provide technical support to field service teams and end-users, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to address recurring problems and improve service processes.
• Assist in the maintenance of technical documentation, service logs, and maintenance schedules.

Learning & Development:

• Engage in continuous on-the-job training to enhance technical expertise in HVAC systems.
• Stay updated on emerging HVAC technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Participate in team meetings and technical reviews to gain practical insights and contribute ideas.

• Technical Skill Development: Build on foundational HVAC knowledge and develop practical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Customer Service: Support timely and effective resolution of service issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant coursework or academic projects in HVAC systems, thermodynamics, and energy management is advantageous.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience, internships, or relevant academic projects related to HVAC systems are preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn and grow in the HVAC service industry are encouraged to apply.

Skills:

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of HVAC components, systems, and control technologies.
