Job Title: HVAC Service Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Service Engineer – Fresher to join our dynamic service team. In this entry-level role, you will provide technical support for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems. With comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers, you will build a strong foundation in HVAC technologies, develop problem-solving skills, and ensure our systems operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Commissioning:
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring proper setup and calibration.
- Support system start-up activities, including testing and verifying performance parameters.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Participate in routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions, and perform basic repairs under supervision.
- Document service activities and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Customer Support & Documentation:
- Provide technical support to customers and field service teams, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Help prepare detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.
- Record and report operational issues to help improve service procedures and system reliability.
Learning & Development:
- Engage in continuous on-the-job training and mentorship programs to enhance technical expertise.
- Stay updated on emerging HVAC technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to refine diagnostic techniques and service strategies.

- Technical Skill Development: Build a strong foundation in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant coursework in HVAC systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, or energy systems is advantageous.
Experience:
- 0-1 years of prior professional experience is required; internships or academic projects related to HVAC systems are a plus.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of HVAC components, systems, and control mechanisms.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Basic safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid/CPR) are an advantage.
