The Junior HVAC Production Supervisor supports day-to-day operations on the manufacturing floor, overseeing the assembly and production of HVAC units such as air handlers, heat pumps, and packaged systems. This role assists in managing production teams, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. It is ideal for professionals with initial supervisory experience looking to grow into a leadership role within a high-volume HVAC manufacturing environment.
Assist in supervising production line workers and technicians in HVAC unit assembly and sub-component integration.
Monitor shift activities to ensure productivity, quality, and on-time output.
Support daily work assignments and resolve basic workflow or material issues.
Ensure all production processes follow established SOPs and work instructions.
Promote and monitor safety procedures, PPE usage, and good housekeeping.
Participate in root cause analysis for minor quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
Support onboarding and training of new production staff.
Motivate and guide team members to meet shift targets.
Escalate attendance, performance, or behavior issues to senior supervisors or HR.
Maintain accurate shift production records, downtime logs, and basic quality checklists.
Support daily production meetings with updates on progress, challenges, and resource needs.
Collaborate with maintenance or engineering teams to report equipment issues.

High school diploma or GED (required)
Technical diploma or associate degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or HVAC (preferred)
1–3 years of experience in HVAC equipment manufacturing or mechanical assembly
Prior lead or team coordinator experience is a plus
Basic understanding of HVAC components and mechanical assembly techniques
Good communication and team organization skills
Knowledge of workplace safety, 5S, and basic lean manufacturing principles
Familiarity with ERP or production tracking systems is a bonus
