The Senior HVAC Module Assembly Supervisor leads end-to-end oversight of HVAC module production lines, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety in the assembly of blowers, evaporators, heater cores, actuators, and duct systems for automotive applications. This role manages multiple shifts or complex assembly operations, coordinates with engineering and quality teams, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The senior supervisor is a key leader in workforce development, process optimization, and escalation resolution for high-volume production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate HVAC module assembly across multiple lines or shifts to ensure output meets production, quality, and delivery targets.
Oversee line staffing, task assignments, and shift planning while driving accountability and high team performance.
Manage and escalate technical or process-related issues by collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams.
Champion adherence to safety protocols, ergonomic standards, and compliance with regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
Analyze production data (OEE, scrap, downtime) to identify trends and implement corrective actions or process enhancements.
Drive root cause investigations and continuous improvement using lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping).
Mentor and coach line leads and operators, facilitating skills development and performance evaluations.
Ensure all documentation, SOPs, quality checklists, and production records are accurate and up to date.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred
Equivalent experience in high-volume production leadership may be considered
Experience:
6–8+ years of experience in automotive assembly or thermal systems manufacturing
3+ years in a supervisory or production leadership role, ideally overseeing HVAC or interior module assembly
Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of HVAC module components and assembly processes
Proficiency in reading technical drawings, control plans, and work instructions
Familiarity with ERP/MES systems, production reporting tools, and lean manufacturing methodologies
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, delegation, and team-building capabilities
Effective communicator with problem-solving orientation
High level of ownership and responsiveness under tight production schedules
