Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior HVAC Maintenance Technician to lead our maintenance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and mentoring a team of technicians. Your expertise will drive improvements in operational efficiency, ensure compliance with safety standards, and contribute to the longevity and reliability of our HVAC assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

• Supervise, mentor, and train junior and mid-level technicians to ensure high-quality maintenance practices.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules and projects.
• Lead technical meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Advanced Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and conduct in-depth inspections of HVAC systems to preemptively address potential issues.
• Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies.
• Implement corrective maintenance strategies and recommend system upgrades to enhance performance and reduce downtime.

System Optimization & Process Improvement:

• Analyze system performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and refine maintenance protocols to streamline operations and optimize energy efficiency.
• Participate in root cause analysis of recurrent issues and drive sustainable solutions.

Safety, Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies during all maintenance activities.
• Conduct safety audits, lead training sessions, and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repair logs, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in HVAC technology, mechanical, or electrical systems are preferred.
• Additional technical training or coursework in advanced HVAC systems is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance, including preventive and corrective maintenance of complex systems.
• Proven track record of leading maintenance teams and managing large-scale maintenance projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and resolving advanced HVAC system issues.
