Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is designed for candidates with some foundational training or limited hands-on experience in HVAC systems. You will work under the guidance of senior technicians to assist in routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC equipment, ensuring that systems operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Routine Maintenance & Inspections:

• Assist in performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Support tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and checking system components to maintain optimal performance.
• Help identify minor issues and report them to senior technicians for further action.

Troubleshooting & Repairs:

• Participate in diagnosing basic HVAC system malfunctions under supervision.
• Assist with repair and replacement of components as needed, learning proper troubleshooting techniques.
• Record maintenance activities and document any issues encountered during service calls.

Installation & Commissioning Support:

• Provide support during HVAC system installations, helping with equipment setup and system calibration.
• Assist in commissioning new systems by performing performance tests and ensuring they meet specified standards.

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere to established safety protocols, company policies, and industry standards at all times.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately and maintain a safe work environment.
• Participate in safety training sessions and follow proper procedures for handling tools and equipment.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Help maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work logs and service reports.
• Assist in updating maintenance schedules and documenting repairs for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or coursework in HVAC technology, mechanical, or electrical systems is preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles relevant to HVAC systems.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of hands-on training, internships, or relevant coursework in HVAC maintenance is preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn and grow in the HVAC industry are encouraged to apply.
