We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior HVAC Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational skills in HVAC system design who are eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world projects. You will work closely with senior engineers to support the design, drafting, and analysis of HVAC systems for residential, commercial, or industrial applications, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with building standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Drafting:
• Assist in developing HVAC design solutions using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Prepare basic load calculations, duct and piping layouts, and equipment sizing data under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Contribute to creating and reviewing technical drawings, project specifications, and design documentation.
Technical Analysis and Support:
• Support energy modeling and performance simulations to evaluate HVAC system efficiency.
• Assist in conducting feasibility studies and analysis to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate HVAC designs with overall building systems.
Project Coordination:
• Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
• Assist in preparing reports and documentation for design revisions and project updates.
• Support senior engineers in managing design tasks to meet project deadlines. Learning and Development:
• Engage in on-the-job training and professional development opportunities to enhance technical expertise.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, building codes, and sustainable design practices.
• Develop problem-solving skills and technical proficiency through hands-on project experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
• Coursework or academic projects focused on HVAC design, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, or energy systems is an advantage.
Experience:
• 1-2 years Prior internship or project experience related to HVAC design is beneficial but not required.
• This is an entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or candidates with limited professional experience.
Skills:
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar is a plus. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
