Job Title: HVAC Boiler Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior HVAC Boiler Technician to lead our boiler installation, maintenance, and repair operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex projects, overseeing the work of junior and mid-level technicians, and ensuring that HVAC boiler systems operate at peak efficiency and safety. Your expertise will drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in our service and maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Project Management:

• Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level technicians, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Lead complex boiler installation and maintenance projects from planning through to execution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations, to optimize system performance and streamline workflow.

Advanced Installation & Commissioning:

• Oversee the installation of HVAC boiler systems, ensuring all components, such as piping, electrical controls, and safety systems, are installed according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
• Conduct comprehensive system commissioning and calibration to verify operational readiness and safety compliance.
• Develop and refine installation protocols to improve efficiency and quality.

Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Design and implement advanced preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Diagnose and resolve complex boiler issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.
• Oversee corrective maintenance activities and recommend long-term solutions to recurring problems.

Safety, Compliance & Quality Control:

• Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies across all boiler operations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety.
• Ensure high-quality standards through meticulous documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and service reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or coursework in HVAC technology, boiler maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems as they relate to HVAC boiler operations.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in HVAC boiler installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading a technical team.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and resolving advanced boiler system issues.
